This is not my first time going to Medici. This is one of my preferred local restaurants. I've been eating here since it opened at least five years ago.
The ambience is fantastic. Great location in uptown Normal. Cool design with a mix of modern and natural. Open expansive spaces with intimate dining as an option also. Indoor outdoor seating....

Went there last night for a business dinner. Ordered the ribeye. By he time I was done thee was more fat on my plate than edible meat in my stomach. Beer selection was okay but I can't understand why they wouldn't support a local brewery we have right here in the same town.

We held my wife's birthday party here, 12 people, got off on a wrong start, but someone overheard the conversation between the wait staff and corrected it fast. They were not going to let any be seated until we all arrived, even though the table was set.

Park in the Back! Great Atmosphere & Unique Menu

Don't try to park in the 1-hr spots off the round-a-bout, there is ample parking in the lot behind the restaurant (and a back entrance) or even the structure across the street in back. The food was great and was priced right. I had the Salmon Brulee. It was quite delicious. The waiter was courteous and helpful. There were many things to choose from the menu.
