As its name suggests, this family-friendly restaurant is situated downstairs, behind what must have once been someone’s cellar door. Enjoy the brick walls, wooden tables and booths, planked floor, and the lengthy bar. If you are seated near the entrance, you’ll notice that the kitchen is located to the side of the space. Happy hours and regularly scheduled entertainment are part of the experience.
Went here for drinks and the atmosphere was awesome. Best bartenders ever and very fast and good customer service. Huge glasses of wine.
The cream of crab soup at the Cellar Door was a welcome surprise. Most cream of crab soups taste like wallpaper paste with some crab thrown in, but Chef Richard Belles's soup is a true crab soup slightly thickened with cream. Pleasantly spicy with ample pieces of crab throughout, I would like all cream of crab soups to taste like this.

Excellent as usual! The brunch food is great. The atmosphere is quaint and charming. Love that you are underground and hidden away.
The blackened mahi was excellent. My friend ordered mussels and thought they were excellent. The sweet & spicy chocolate mousse was also excellent.
The men's bathroom left something to be desired, however. There was no door to the toilet stall, requiring the outer door of the bathroom to be locked for privacy, thus denying access to the urinal for someone...
