Tyler loved it!!!

My Chow is blind and old. I have taken him to several groomers who boast of their wonderful service and near perfect reviews. But it is only at this grooming place that Tyler, my baby seems to get excited whenever I carry him thru the door of the shop. His tail starts wagging and starts doing his happy bark. He is always looks good and smell good when I pick him up after. Tyler is the one being groomed not me (LOL) so I guess he has a better way judging which shop he wants to go. And so far it seems this shop and groomer is who he wants to be at. Obviously Celebrity paw knows how to handle disable and older dogs and that is good enough for me.
I love the place and will keep on going there.

Attitude!

Lack of caring much!? I took my dog in for the second time and they plucked the hair out of his ears. He was miserable and very swollen from it. They also burned his ear with the clippers.

Knowing that he doesn't like his head trimmed when asked if they should do his tail and ears too I replied I didn't know you do that. Yes if he will let you.( Notice I said if he will let you not torture and force the dog to get it done)

Not being familiar with this service I called a couple times to question if this discomfort was normal or not. Instead of showing compassion or concern for my dog I was greeted with annoyance for even calling.

I ended up having to pay a $210 vet bill.

Mabey this service was a normal procedure but it would have been nice to have been told about it first and explained properly about the possible reactions. It also would of been nice if my questions were met with equal concern and not attitude and annoyance.

Also if you are so busy that you don't have time to address a customers concerns then you are not a qualified groomer in my opinion. The paw spa brags about 25 years of professional service just beware that it doesn't come with proper bedside manners especially if you ask questions!
