This is the course I learned to play on, and have continued to play since 1967 . I've witnessed the course transformation from a "country course" to a true test and challenge. The postage stamp greens and the subtle twists and turns, together with yje varyied topography of the fairways, more than make up for the lack of length. The course has some straight forward holes, but is always followed...
Course was in good shape. I liked it as it was not overly long as I a recovering from surgery
This course is open to the public but Is mostly for members. After golfing there yesterday, I don't know why anyone would want to pay to golf there. Some of my fairway shots would be like hitting off of hard dirt and the "rough" would be essentially non existent grass that turned into hard dirt. Round went fast but that's only because I wanted to get out of there so I didn't break my clubs....
I play this course often. Greens are small but very nice, fast and somewhat tricky. The front nine is flat with many trees and undulating greens, the back nine has many hilly stances but the greens are flatter. The course will test your skills.
