Truly delicious, it starts to close a little earlier because of the time of year. Boy, please try the gelato, we had raspberry & dark chocolate all three nights we were in Cayucous. It was divine. Give the gals a tip because they sure work hard & it's so hot in the store cause keeping the ice stuff takes lots...

No where in our travels around the Cayucos area did we find an ice cream and candy shop this cool. It features quite a variety of goods to eat in or take with you. Maybe just a tad pricey for what it is, I wouldn't avoid it for that reason. Afterall, this is tax-heavy California and small business are at...

This place has delicious gelato, candies, ice cream, and milkshakes, but is a bit overpriced.

All the kids in town at one point receive gift certificates from The Candy Counter. Much allowance is spent at this place by kids and grownups. They have a good selection of licorice and the have great gelato. People are friendly that work behind the counter and the business donates a lot to the community.
