Help us make it rightIn 2004 Cassis Bistro closed on Capitol Hill after a 7 year run as a top ten, celebrated restaurant in Seattle. Well, it only took ten years but we have reopened on Alki beach. Country French food anchored in the classics with a talented Chef's spin. Seasonal menus that will change monthly using local farmers and foragers will keep things interesting for our kitchen as well as our customers....
Serves up French inspired food and has a very nice location on the Alki strip. Cassis's selection of wines and view provides a perfect place for an intimate meal.
Each dish has exceptional flavor. Each cocktail is made with care. The small, comfortable, friendly environment draws me back frequently. The owner is gracious and genuine and his staff members treat all guests with great care. Cassis is a gem! Great quality, excellent preparation, and the view over Alki is beautiful.
Wow, five of us dined and everything was fabulous! Muscles done just right, chicken was perfectly cooked as was the Ling Cod. The vegetarian palate received rave reviews. The heirloom salad was delicious. Although the restaurant was very busy we received attentive and timely service. We dine here often and this was an outstanding experience.
Great food and service. The walls open up so you feel like you're dining outdoors. A little chaotic/noisy being on Alki but makes for great people watching. Really nice meal (tho I wish they'd lay off the foie gras).
We were visiting the Alki area of West Seattle and were looking for a close by restaurant when we found this local gem. It was a warm evening and the "doors" were up, making it feel like an outdoor setting. Our waiter was superb. He had helpful recommendations, was very friendly and attentive. The food was simple, but spectacular from start to finish. Our cocktails were inventive and strong....
Cassis is located at 2820 Alki Ave SW, Seattle, WA..
Cassis reopened in February. We're now gearing up for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays beginning April 12th and 7 night and lunch this Summer.
Seasonal, organic, sustainable food anchored in country French tradition. Not fussy and pretentious. Warm and inviting. Our menus change monthly to reflect what is currently fresh and locally available.
For parties larger than 8 guests please call the restaurant to make your reservation. Thank you.
See you at the beach!
