This restaurant has good authentic Mexican burritos and enchiladas (with rice and beans). But the heady house margaritas are arguably an equal draw.

A buddy and I ate at Casa Baeza on our way to somewhere else. The bar is comfortable and friendly, fairly loud but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I glanced at the tables: the decor looks a little kitschy : sombreros and such, but nothing to complain about.

A funky mexican restaurant in downtown Truckee that has good mexican food in a house like setting. Known for their margaritas. Have a pinch of salt when you go there as it's very Truckee ish in service and food quality.
