After flying from Europe the taste buds were tired, but the sirloin accompanied by two fresh veg worked well, pity that rare came up as almost well done! But value for money anyway.
Although the tables etc. are a bit basic, diner style, the food was excellent It was good that so much was freshly cooked, great jacket potatoes, rice etc. The staff were really friendly, we ate there more than once during our stay in the area.
A decent stop for a meal—nothing fancy, but nice staff and service. Calories are listed on the menu for the health conscious. The only area where they skimped was on condiments. No jams or jellies were brought to the table for breakfast toast and syrup for pancakes came in a container slightly bigger than a thimble.
You don't choose this restaurant for it's outstanding décor,you go here for it's great food,service and prices-during our stay ate here for breakfast,lunch and evening meals(not on the same day obviously!!!) and enjoyed every visit
We go here on quite a regular basis. We are an older couple like most of the Carrows customers in this area.
We enjoy the specials and have out favorite servers. On the last four or five visits we have had hassles about paying our check.
Either the check was for the wrong amount or the person at the cash...
