Help us make it rightMonday - Saturday until 2:30pm, the lunch buffet is $8.50 (tax included) and it comes with a drink (tea, soft drink, coffee). I was there this past Saturday and had carved beef, ham and turkey. Mashed potatos, pintos, sliced sweet potatos in a sweet syrup sauce (excellent), green beans, corn, fried fish, popcorn shrimp, corn bread, hushpuppies and I saved one of the best for last, fried squash....
Lunch is very good. A bit on the greasy side, but a three line buffet with country, seafood, dessert & salad. The Lunch price is very reasonable; however, the dinner price doubles and the only thing added to the bar are crab legs...Is it worth it?

The captain's plank is a great place for everyone. They truly have wonderful food and a huge variety. My father said the country food was as close to being at his mothers as any place he's ever been.
