Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served throughout the day at this old-school Castro Village diner with turquoise banquettes. The Italian countryside mural on one wall hints at this eatery's ethnic roots. Pastas, steaks, burgers and salads dominate; wash them down with a malted or root beer float. Capers is just west of the clock tower facing the boulevard.
