We spent 3 nights on sound side. It rained every day we were there (aug 2014) but it was the most beautiful, peaceful place I have ever been!!! I can only imagine how it is when sun is out...lol. We had the best time ever and I cant imagine staying anywhere else. We stayed in the suite for 6 guests...

We stayed here 2 nights. It was good. The beds are a little firm for my taste, but the pillows were comfortable, and made up for it. It's an older hotel, and you can definitely tell, but we weren't looking for the Ritz. We just wanted to be close to the beach.

We spent 2 nights at this motel on the second level. It is literally on the beach and with the windows open at night, the waves were sleep enducing. The management was very helpful and accomodating. The king-size room was excellent and very clean. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. There were no flat pillows. There is a flat-screen television mounted to the wall so you can stretch out and watch a show in the evening. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Seeing as we went on an impromptu trip during the cold/off season, we were upgraded to a townhome, on the beach. Listened to the waves, watched the sunrise, and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Great experience. I prefer the scarce visitors opposed to the plethora of people during the busy summer months. Would be fun to rent an entire building...
