We stopped by after reading the other reviews on tripadvisor, expecting your usual tour and a push to buy their wine. Instead, we were welcomed as though we were expected. Jesse spent some time explaining the operation and offered us several samplings of the wine they produced. We felt so at home with him. He is a very cordial fellow....

What a great place; friendly, knowledgeable, great wines and great people, both the owners and customers alike... You are treated like family. Relax and have some wine and enjoy a tour of a real working winery with the knowledgable Staff and maybe even taste a little of next years vintage out of the barrel. Cantara Cellars is a local winery with tasting room producing a broad selection of award-winning red and white wines. The lounge is open Friday evening from 5 to 7:30 p.m. for wine flights, wine by the glass and small plates. The Winery and Tasting Room are open weekends 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for tasting and tours.
