COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS VENDOR!!! This vendor was on the recommended list for my venue, and they royally messed up my wedding cake on my wedding day. I had given the bakery all of my cake decor, along with my cake topper, and on my wedding day I arrive to my reception to see that my cake has NOTHING ON IT!!! I was about to have a meltdown, and my new husband was having to call the bakery right as we arrived to the reception to see why our cake had not been decorated, and to see what had happened to the decorations we had given them.
The bakery explained that they had a mixup, and accidentally put our decor on someone else's cake. It was so infuriating! They said they would try to get there as soon as possible to fix it. I ended up having to stop the DJ from announcing the cake cutting, and waiting on CANDY HAVEN to get there to decorate my cake, so the pictures would have the decor in them.
IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING that my guests did not even get to see what my cake should have looked like!!! They decorated it about 2 minutes before we cut it.
I already had my bad experience, I just want to warn YOU FOR THE FUTURE, AND SAVE YOU FROM THIS DISASTER.
They did not take the time and try to apologize for this inconvenience. I tried to reach out to them, and after 3 failed attempts, and no one returning my calls or emails, I gave up.
IT JUST SHOWS YOU WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE RUN THIS COMPANY, AND THAT THEY DON'T REALLY VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS/ CLIENTS!
We have used Candy Haven before for Bridal and Baby Shower cakes, so when it came time to order my own wedding cake, we didn't need to shop around at multiple bakeries.
