I don't know what I'd do without Dr. Ober and his practice. He's been nothing but compassionate, skilled and amazing from day one. First of all, he charges HALF what other area vets do. That's because he doesn't pour his money into a fancy office or stunning presentation- everything he invests is in the animals that come through his door. Second, when you call after hours, you get his personal number. Not a machine. You talk directly to HIM.

I have been a volunteer here for 2 years now and I have to say Dr. John Ober is very thorough and does amazing work. I couldn’t ask for a better vet to learn from. We were originally taking our pets to the Owego clinic and found that not only was the candor office much closer he also took more time to make sure you were comfortable with what would be done. Dr Obre saved my dogs life, he is a vet who really knows animals, he looked at my Great BIG Pyrenees as soon as we walked into his office, he saw how sick she was, he scoped her up in his arms and carried her to a table where he got her on IV and meds right away, he quickly drew her blood sample and sent it out to get tested almost immediately, even though he knew she had Addison’s, he did all the test to get a firm confirmation. Almost killed my dog

My dog went in to get spayed and was almost killed. She was left bleeding internally. We brought he back because we knew something was wrong we were told that she was constipated after he felt her stomach. The hard ball he felt turned out to be a large blood clot that had formed. We took her to another vet they did emergency surgery and saved her life. I will never go back again as my dog is too important to me. In the end we have spent almost 2000.00 dollars because of his poor care.
