What a grand lady, until those who wanted football there ruined a great stadium that was designed for baseball. Impact studies done years after she was enclosed showed that was the worse thing they could of done. The local wind currents turned her into a whirlwind park. Football ruined a great park, now we have AT&T park, crowded and cramped seating and oddly enough the same winds that haunted...

We went to a 49ers NFL game. We had never been to one and thoughti it was incredible. We were high up in the Park. We could see everything. Our seats were comfortable. Amenities were accessible and the food was good but very pricey for the USA. Transport using the Bart transport was very easy and good for our family...

We used to come to Candlestick Park as kids to watch the Giants. I had not been back in many years, and then went to a 49er Game. The place was very well done. The food offerings have improved, and the prices are a bit steep, but overall a fun adventure down memory lane.

Candlestick Park is the football stadium that will never die. Although it has undergone a number of name changes over the years, including 3Com Park and Monster Park, the field now sports its original name, which has a long tradition in the Bay Area. Named for its location on Candlestick Point, this home of the San Francisco 49er's football team is a truly iconic Northern California landmark.
