Last night Campanile GM Johann Drolshagen took to The Facebook to explain the restaurant's stance on dineLA and the reasoning behind its anti-dineLA menu. While hoping to have a nice meal prior to our flight, I was extremely disappointed. The service was excellent and prompt but when you're paying $14+ for a sandwich (incl. a small side salad), you would expect more than one thin slice of turkey that did not even cover the cibatta bread. Oh well, live and learn at airport franchises......
Cocktail was good. $17. Turkey sandwich had lots of bread. Very little turkey. $16. No service. Terrible.
Our last day before going to the airport we stopped here to get breakfast. It was good and more than enough food. They start with a appetizer of veggies all cooked differently I personally did not care for it by my family enjoyed it. What happened?
This restaurant was a landmark ( not only on an architectural point of view being the movie studio for Chaplin )
But also the best place for brunch in LA. Fluffiest quiche lorraine, best homemade jams and freshest pastries and breads thanks to La Brea Bakery.

On Thursday nights, the chefs unveil more than a dozen sublime versions of the grilled cheese sandwich. Arrive early--this event draws a crowd and reservations are only taken for parties of five or more.
