It's possible to get "upscale", "über-fabulous" Italian dishes (pair them with something from the "phenomenal" yet mostly "affordable" wine list) "without going Downtown", courtesy of this "wonderful-every-time" Waltham "experience"; given the "cute", rustic setting and "excellent" standard of service set by the "personable" owner, loyalists happily forgive the "special-occasion" pricing.
rarely nice interior, show cooking, some of the best tasting Italian food I ever had, and surprisingly inexpensive

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Boston area. Whenever I travel near there I have to call and make a reservation. The wine program alone is worth the trip, but the creativity with entrees and appitizers will hook you too! Great food and great people. Kudos to John and David and their family for creating such an outstanding restaurant.
