While staying at a relatives Cottage on Oneida Lake we happened upon a "Diamond in the Ruff," the Calypso Cay in Brewerton. Saw the sign on the left over the bridge but missed the left turn... so glad we turned around because our effort proved to be worth it. We originally visited Calypso Cay when it first opened and it was great. Then we visited after other management took over. The service went downhill, the food - yuk! Had these terrible spices in them. Bleck! and the beer - my husband's first glass was full of vinegar!

The best looking bar in the area, but..........great bar, bad food, wrong type of servers. This is a tropical themed etablishment, yet the servers are biker bar types. All tattooed, biker style hair, etc.
They know the menu, but the first thing you see are tats, piercings, etc. An immediate red flag. Music is so bad. the cook and dish...
