Help us make it rightSadly,Calamity Cafe has gone out of business. We locals sure do miss it!
Really need to get some new chairs, sitting on them is very uncomfortable when the tape sticks to you and not the seat of the chair. The improvement in the blackbean soup, back to being thick and finding more than a few beans is a joy . Thanks!
im in the military and ive ate at alot of restuarants all over, but calamity is a place i eat every time i return home to west virginia, the atmosphere is very relaxed the service is great and it is the only place to be on the weekends, the cuisine is southwestern but you can pretty much find anything on the menu you would want, if you are sick of the chain restuarants and want to have fun...

Stop in Calamity Café for a place that serves up southwestern American where people frequently get pasta. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $8 to $12, and plan to fit the scene by dressing casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.
Details to Note: Reservations are not accepted. Carryout is available.
Ways to Pay: Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American...
