Help us make it rightBubbling over with a bustling vibe, Caffee Primo is gainfully positioned at the east end of Sunset Strip. Peopled by an impressive crowd of beautiful people - the young, toned and well-heeled Angelenos at their best - the place exudes leisurely comfort in an almost festive atmosphere. The sizable menu is easy to navigate, sporting trusty café staples like omelets, panini, soups, crepes, pizza,...
Breakfast (served all day), lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Lets not forget Happy hour from 3pm to 7pm. Serving Italian frittatas, savory crepes, delicious gelato. Full espresso bar, and deliciously healthy protein smoothies.
Caffé Primo brings to life the atmosphere; taste and charm of what locals thrive on, a local place to refresh, refuel and relax in their daily lives. Caffé Primo perfectly blends the warmth of an eatery with the modern touches of a sleek restaurant, bringing European style and ambience to America in a casual atmosphere. Most Europeans have more of a "gathering" mentality whether it would be...
Their flavors are truly wonderful. The fruits that they have as toppings are sweet too and I can’t get enough of their chocolate yogurt.
I ordered a cup of coffee. While I was adding sugar and milk, I saw this giant red big lip mark on the cup! I took the coffee to the counter asking for an exchange. The server didn't look at me nor apologize for the gross cup. I will never go back to the place again.
Primo's is the place for Italian gelatio on the Sunset Strip! It's similar to a Roman cafes where you can get a cafe doppio or a fast snack and be on your way. There are also paninis, pizzas and salads in addition to their Roman-style espresso bar. The tables are large marble slabs, so you might be sitting with a stranger if you come when it's busy. They also have some home-made scones, cinamon rolls, muffins (heads only), etc. if you just want to get a coffee and a light breakfast. There's street parking or in the mall lot downstairs. It's pretty informal (meaning slow), so just walk in and don't bother with a reservation. (Edited February 20, 2008)
The gelato is good. The service is sloooow.
Along the Sunset Strip, Caffè Primo is a versatile, all-day snack center, in which a sleek and stylish interior is dominated by a horseshoe-shaped gelato bar and hip coffee lounge as stylishly decked out as some of the neighboring clubs. Handcrafted espresso drinks enhance the scene, where shoppers and tourists take time out for some people-watching on the landscaped patio or enjoy a refreshing...

Cafe Primo is a good option for outdoor lunch on the Sunset Strip. You order at the counter and the wait staff brings the food to you. The ambiance is perfect for a nice day when you want to have a salad for lunch at an outdoor cafe. This location is also great for people-watching.
