Location was great and its very cute French cafe style but food was fair at best with little presentation and very cafeteria like. I certainly would not recommend for anything business related or special.

Great restaurant in downtown DC near to my workplace. The food and service are excellent. I've been there several times with my colleagues as this is one of their favorites too.

It has been a long time since I've gone to Café Soleil. It was all I remember and more. I appreciate that you can hear each other and it has a really comfortable atmosphere (and I would go there for a romantic dinner). It feels warm in the winter. An d I like the windows in the summer. Cafe Soleil is one of the few true Bistro's in Washington DC. Their food is always fresh and a value. The restaurant is quiet enough to hold a conversation. Being at the Metro in mid-town DC makes them very convenient. I am glad I discovered Cafe Soleil.
