A favorite among locals and laptoppers for endless caffeine drip from in-house coffee roastery. Jockey for space -- it's always busy, even when it's not -- and settle in for a day of quintessential coffeeshop karma. Light piercing and tats to keep things interesting. Not much in the way of eats, but you can always step out for a smoke before coming back inside for your favorite java or tea.
Very expensive coffee but amazing coffee. I can't pay $2.75 every day for a small plain coffee but when I need to do work I post up here and it's worth it. They have pastries and stuff too. The amount of space where you can sit and work is incredible. So much space!
As an avid lover of the HBO show "Girls", I was in heaven to walk into this tiny coffee shop and see the exact place they've filmed so many scenes. The coffee was good and atmosphere laid back.

Great coffee, simple setting, interesting pastries. I couldn't ask for more. Had good service upon my visit March 2014, so hopefully grumpy Baristas are just part of the store's name.
Great coffee but some of the worst baristas in all of Brooklyn. Avoid if you can, go to variety coffee up the street for better service.
