Awesome, soul food. You would think that your mama were in the kitchen cooking. Lots of food for the money. Delicious food cooked from scratch not processed. And the desserts are delicious, addictive cake squares, peach cobbler, and pecan candy.

Great soul food. I was more than satisfied. I did not mind traveling the distance. Now i just get two plates...REALLY WISH THEY WOULD OPEN another store.

Great home cooking!. This restaurant has the best Southern style home cooking/soul food that I have eaten in Baton Rouge. The prices are reasonable, and the food is well flavored. If you don't have time to cook or go by your Mama's house for dinner you should try the Cafe Express!
