I'm so glad we FINALLY decided to give this place a try! Came here for some coffee and was not disappointed--we even left with a couple bags of coffee. The owner was very helpful. Although, we just came for coffee, we will be back for lunch--the menu looked very enticing!

Their coffee, desserts and food is great! I have had it many times and like it a lot! Wish I could go more often. Try the desserts...esp the cupcakes...yummy!!!!!! The store itself is kinda small and I wish they were open later.

very slow service ,grocery store bagel

My wife and I had gone there for half a year then the service deteriiorated noticably. My wife got a grocery store bagel after the last croissant was burned. Service took fully one hour. They may be focusing more on their catering but hey should have remembered their regular customers.

Cafe' Chartier is a great little place to have lunch or dinner in Lexington. It has everything a diner could want-charm, atmosphere, and delicious food. The turkey avocado wrap is big enough to share, as are most of the dishes, including the salads. The pizza is very authentically Italian. But for a real indulgence, have the coffee and a dessert....

I am very disappointed in the quality of service at the coffeeshop. Idoesnt have tried to eat there several times, but here lately...they are VERY slow to serve you. They bring one order out at a time with delays in between, and the older man behind the counter takes your money, but doesnt wash his hands after running the register....
