While many of our neighbors have recommended Cafe Aquarius, just a few years old and a relative newcomer to the traditional Emeryville cafe scene, we just tried it for breakfast last weekend and what a find! We had the most delicious lemon soufflé ricotta pancakes you'll find with wonderful apple sausage and egg pairings, and more. More importantly, the coffee...

I love this little gem, it's packed during the week and the weekend, but it's well worth the wait. The pastry case is nirvana and the menu and brunch never fail to satisfy. Indoor seton g, sidewalk and outdoor patio welcomes all comers to a wonderful foodie experience. Tops my list every time
