Made trip of 200+ miles to eat here only to find restaurant closed..omg the city has lost a really great eatery, a tru crime

Too bad Caesar's is closing the end of the month. It's been a family tradition for decades with multiple generations. We hope that they are able to find a new location. Truly a gem.

We have been patrons of caesar's restaurant since it opened in 1956. I was a child & went with my parents. Then when i was married we were regulars there on week-ends. The sadness was announced at the beginning of the month that they would be closing forever at the of the month. We'll be there on the 31st to laugh, cry & talk about all of the wonderful times & meals we had there. San francisco...
