The service is excellent. Staff is very attentive and they give it a very homey feeling. The chef is fantastic Jean-Marie is amazing he has come to the table every time we come. My husband is French and he always says its good to be at home when we are there. Also I must say the best beignets ever! The food is fantastic would not change a thing about this restaurant.
Great restaurant. Great food. Great ambiance. I highly recommend going there for dinner. Being French and knowing/loving French food, I would not take the time to write a review if it wasn't well worth it. Bravo Cadot.
We had a great staff meeting/dinner at Cadot. My staff said it was their favorite staff meeting restaurant so far. The food was fantastic and the staff was friendly.
My husband and I tried Cadot for the first time last night, a Tuesday, and it exceeded our expectations. The ambience was suited us to a "T" -- no crowding and the noise levels were low. Established French chef Jean-Marie Cadot has opened his own restaurant in North Dallas, to critical praise. Cadot is a traditional French restaurant featuring seafood, meat, and poultry dishes, as well as some vegetarian items. For events, Cadot offers catering and private rooms, and on Sundays the entire restaurant is available for private functions.
Even though the place is billed as New American with a French twist, the French dishes far outweigh the New American selections. Among those we love: salad niçoise and whole Dover sole. Service is friendly without being overbearing, and chef-owner Jean-Marie Cadot makes the rounds.
