Cabela's Hoffman Estates, Illinois Retail Store is located at Prairie Stone Business Park in the northwest metro area of Chicago near I-90 and Route 59. The 185,000-square-foot retail showroom is an educational and entertainment attraction, featuring a dcor of museum-quality animal displays, huge aquariums and trophy animals interacting in realistic re-creations of their natural habitats.

Nice selection, good customer service, but prices are HIGH, which is why I am only rating them 3 stars. If you don't mind excessive transfer fees ($50) and steep prices on guns, Cabela's is good. But if you're a newbie to guns, Cabela's has friendly staff to get you through the process of owning your first gun.
