CT Smog was recommended to me by the mechanic who does my tire/alignment/suspension related work. I've gone to them for about 10 years now I think. I drive run-down old cars so I have dealt with them a lot. They always do good work at a great price. I moved to Whittier but had my car towed all the way over there today because I trust them. Very friendly service. ESL, but not insurmountable. They quoted $40, and that is *exactly* what I paid -- they backed out the taxes & fees so that the balance ended at $40 (most places charge $40 up front, *then* add the other fees).

Only complaint: Nowhere to wait if you have to; I ended up sitting inside the garage at the owner's computer desk.
