In the late 1920's, David Thomas Byers Sr. owned and operated a busing company known as "Vandergrift Transporation Company." I have used Byers Taxi as transportation to and from the airport for myself as well as picking up visiting family members and have always had such a positive experience. I would recommend them to everyone.

holy cow the driver i saw going about 65mph plus on washington ave was driving the wrong way in the other lane driving other people off the road, almost cause several major accidents on butler st as well EXTREMELY DANGEROUS had a handicapped sticker on the white van with #229 on the back @ about 9:00 am on 2/14/12 . I tried to email the company but it said it was a invalid adress no answer w the phone either so this is a warning to the rest of pittsburgh GET OUT OF THEIR WAY before someone gets killed
