Butterfield’s has been a family restaurant since 1934, when Manley and Norma Butterfield opened up in Hanson, MA at the corner of Main and High streets.

Their daughter Barbara Danner has been in the restaurant business all her life. She opened her own restaurant in Rockland over 30 years ago on Market Street; aptly named Butterfield’s Family Restaurant.

I have been to Butterfields many times for breakfast and lunch. Good food Good service.

Awesome Bacon, egg & cheese on a grilled bagel.I have found that they specialize in breakfast. My dad loves their lunch but that is for an older croud

Service was good, but food was greasy and not that great. There are much better restaurants in the area.

Typical hometown family restaurant. My husband and I go here for breakfast almost every weekend. As mentioned in an other review, you do not typically sit yourself, they only do this on off...

I love fine dining like anyone else.....but if you're going here and expecting this place to be L'Espalier, then you're a schmuck.This is your typical greasy spoon restaurant in my old hometown....
