I am from St. Louis I grew - up on Imo's pizza (Google it). This is as close to home as you get here with their thin crust. It is very good. Just remember your in a smaller town and people might look at you to see if they know ya!

Just recently found Burtons. We're still trying to decide if we like the Smilin Joe better than we like the Hot Jack. Both really good. Good price on beers. They have a steak special on thurs...

A little off the trail and a one of the best kept secrets

Located in Langleyville just outside of Taylorville, Joe, the owner, will greet you with a smile and "how ya doing" when you step in the door. A neighborhood bar/restaurant that serves some of the best homemade pizza, tortellinis and other dishes in central Illinois. Our favorite is the the Smile'n Joe Special which is made with a white garlic sauce....

I really like Burton's. It's a little dive-y, but it feels like home. Hot Jack Pizza is my favorite and 85 cent draft specials are pretty amazing, as well!
