Fun on the go

When every we are heading into the Seattle at lunch time we like to swing by the Burgermaster. It is fun fast food and for some reason everything tastes better when you eat it in the car.

This 1950s-style chain delivers outstanding burgers and shakes via car hop--no hot rod required.

Burgermaster is one of the last vestiges of a bygone era, it's a real, honest-to-god drive-in. You drive up, your server comes out to the car and takes your order. You need to roll your window up a couple of inches so they can hook the tray on it when your food is served. The servers are pleasant and the service is …

Mixed luck here with service, though the food is relatively reliable. Main issue is that, when pulling up at 8:30pm to a lot with less than 5 cars, and seeing 5 serves inside, you would think one of them could be bothered to take an order. After 7-8 minutes, someone finally did. I ordered a cheeseburger …

So disappointed and confused to why the BUGERMASTER isn't called a hamburger and why is BURGERMASTER aka "the big one" such a small burger and named after the company! But then again the SHAKE is INCREDIBLE and the fries were cool!

I freaking love this place. Their shakes are bomb, so are their burgers and fries. Service is good, the employees are so friendly and my order is always right. The portions are a good size for the money, and I am always satisfied after a meal here!

Better than McDonald's but I did not leave wanting to come back. The food is bland and tasted watered down probably do to the lettuce. I had a burger and fries. They do not put salt on the fries which is nice. They were fast and the food was hot. The patties were really thin and as I said before very bland. For the price five guys is where it is at.
