Editorial reviews from the web (1)

This is where they will literally show you the money. A staff of 1,900 works round-the-clock, Monday through Friday, churning it out at the rate of about $907 million a day. Everyone's eyes pop as they walk past rooms overflowing with new greenbacks. But the money's not the whole story. Very interesting tour to see how paper currency is produced. It started with a video and then the guide led us to an area overlooking a printing area where she discussed the process, gave some interesting facts, and explained what we were seeing. It was not a very long tour, about 45 minutes, but definitely worth the visit! The tour...

Business description (2)

Headquartered in D.C., this is where money is printed.

The paper currency for the US is printed in this building. Kids and adults will love visiting this "money factory." The guided tour is brief, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, but the line can be daunting. At the moment tours on a first come basis. Summer evening tours require tickets, which are handed out at the visitor Center. Visitors can see a display with a million USD1 bills and view dollars at...
