Flat out amazing local NC BBQ! Stopped by this place thanks to the reviews on TripAdvisor, and it was spot on! Cafeteria type style with amazing food and staff! Bought a t-shirt the meal was so good! Had a toddler with us, and staff catered to her! Will be back again!

You can tell when you walk into this place that it has been around for years. Wife and I got the BBQ plates and fried chicken. Enjoyed looking at all the stuff on the walls.
Food was good, what you would expect from a place like this.

Bum's has locally sourced foods, cooked in traditional southern ways. The fried chicken is crispy and absolutely the best I have ever eaten. The barbeque is wood cooked so you get that smoky flavor. A great place for collard lovers. They are as good as any you will find. The BBQ is average on a good day, and dry on a bad one. Excellent place for breakfast, but there are much better options...
