Bugis Street Brasserie Restaurant Review

The Millennium Biltmore Hotel’s casual corner eatery, overlooking Pershing Square, is host to an eclectic crowd including foreign travelers as well as local office workers. All happily discover something rather unexpected in historic DTLA: Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine. This is the only stateside location of the Millennium’s UK-based chain, but modern, airy design taps into SoCal’s Pacific...

It's good Asian food, nice modern setting, and a big space so you're not sitting on top of the next table. This was our 2nd visit for their delicious laksa Singaporean soup, and we'll be back!

The restaurant needs a manager. First course came while we were still enjoying our appetizers, noone seemed to notice. Main dishes tasty but not hot (temperature) enough. Staff nice but unfocused. Needs work.

Came here w/ a couple of friends for lunch. Had read about their laksa (soup) being good. I used to come here when the restaurant was Sai Sai and loved it until it got too expensive, so I was expecting this to be on the high end , as well. The restaurant is pretty much the same look but w/ a multi-Asian cuisine. The good news is you can get away w/ a $20 lunch. I'll definitely be back to try...

We had laksa, pork dumpling gyoza, hainanese chicken rice and cha koi tiao. The laksa looks good but it was bland. It needed a little salt & spicy. Pork dumpling is good, hainanese chicken rice was just ok. Rice is dry and again it needed a little salt. The cha koi tiao noodle is perfect. No salt needed there. The place is big and clean. Services is good.

My friend & I decided to try this restaurant for my birthday lunch. The food was tasty, and the servers were kind; however, the restaurant was woefully understaffed. It took 25 minutes to get our appetizers, and we had to request plates, utensils and wave down a server to pay our check. On a Wednesday in DTLA it's important for working folks to get in, eat in a timely fashion, and get back to...
