This stylish New American in Ft. Worth's West 7th development features Southern-inflected fare from sliders to strip steak with an emphasis on "fresh, local" ingredients; the "welcoming" patio-blessed space has the familiar feel of a well-put-together home, with gracious service, moderate prices and a "vibrant bar scene" adding to its warm glow.

Brownstone Restaurant Review

Brownstone features a menu of modern Southern dishes such as mini chicken potpies, barbecue pork riblets with house-made sauce and sweet relish, and a bone-in buffalo skillet rib-eye with potato dumplings and butter scented with cumin.

Was disappointed that the patio had the T.V. on and we were subjected to a football game. This is a nice place, I guess they want to compete with the Sports bars in the neighborhood. Very sad.

This place is a unique downtown Fr. Worth find. The food is very good. The service is wonderful. There is a great view of downtown Ft. Worth . It's the kind of place you can go with a friend, enjoy a good meal and a leisurely visit. I've been once and am looking forward to returning.

Absolutely disappointing in every aspect. The food (we ordered simple things like hamburger and tacos) was bland and super dry, the service nonexistent and the seating totally uncomfortable (the banquettes definitely need some redoing). There are so many better choices in this neighborhood.

My wife and I were in Fort Worth to visit family and though we would try the brunch at Brownstone on Saturday and were disappointed. Food was mediocre. We ordered the Loaded Tots appetizer expecting that the chef would have made his own tots or something to make it special. Unfortunately, we received the standard frozen tater tots with some cheese, bacon, and jalapenos tossed on. We both had...
