Last fall when my mother passed I called Ron Brown on a Sunday, he calmly and with care explained what he would do at that point and set a time for the family to come in and make the rest of the arrangements the next day. A lifelong Camas resident, Gretel followed her heart and decided to begin a career in funeral service so that she may help lead the people of her community through the perilous early stages of grief. Attention to detail and compassion are her strengths - she hopes to change the general opinion of Funeral Directors from one of greed, to one of human connection and care.

Brown's Funeral Home has...

Brown's Funeral Home was founded by Fred Stoller and was originally named Stoller Memorial Chapel. In the beginning, the funeral home was located where Lutz Hardware is located today. In 1965, Gordon Brown bought the funeral home from Mr. Stoller after moving down to Camas from Centralia, Washington.
