Billed $150,000 for two 10 minute carpal tunnel surgeries. Insurance paid $105K and they are trying to come after me for the rest. They said max out of pocket was $2K. Dustin Ray does good work, but beware that you need to get all the costs up front in writing and notarized by officers of the company so it is legally enforceable.

The  Brown Hand Center and its Doctor Dustin Ray billed our insurance company $150,000 for two carpal tunnel surgeries that lasted about 10 minutes each.   My insurance paid $105k of that.  Now they are trying to come after us for the rest of the money even though we signed an agreement that said we would have no more than $2,000 out of pocket for the surgery.   What irks me is that they do not...

The whole process from beginning to end I felt was of fraud. When the financial office checked with my Insurance to see if they would cover the service, the staff person came in and said that they were out of network and I would have a added deductible of 1,000. and they would cover the rest. Not true. I found out after the surgery my deductible would be 7,500 out of network. The money they...
