Help us make it rightThe Broad Ripple Brewpub was established in 1990 by Englishman John Hill, born in Middlesbrough in North Yorkshire, and his wife Nancy, a Hoosier native. It is Indiana's very first brewpub (a restaurant that brews its own beer) and the oldest operating brewery in the state. The Brewpub was designed to recreate a typical English pub with its dark wood paneling, decorative tin ceiling, and cozy...

Let the basketball goal in the parking lot be your first clue to the relaxed feel of this Monon Trail-side pub, where almost everyone wears a backwards baseball cap and...
A great location for people watching and great beer from the towns eldest statesman in the craft beer movement. Plenty of outside seating, a cozy yet somewhat small inside in an old time homely beer pub feel circa the nineties. All dark brown old wood work. I would drink and eat here plenty if it was a convenient local place but it is 45 minutes by car. I come here mostly for the yummy cask...
Before so many of the newer veggie spots, there was the Broad Ripple Brewpub committed to offering a great, extensive selection of vegetarian options along with all the meaty options for your carnivorous friends. A great place to take a group of people with all different taste buds! (Extra bonus...good beer with your veggies!)
We had lunch. Nice variety on the menu. The waitress was helpful and attentive but, there weren't many customers when we were there. Liked the beer variety. I was able to get a taste of one beer before I decided what I wanted to drink with lunch. Cute decor. I would go back there. It's off the beaten path in Broad Ripple which is nice.
This restaurant was recommended by a friend. Great beer selection. Knowledgeable wait staff. This is obviously a neighborhood hangout, with friendly people and good service. Had a delicious black bean burger and husband had brisket sandwich which he enjoyed tremendously. Sampled a couple of their brews--all good! Would return here again.
Had lunch there Wednesday with my wife & 2 small children. Our food was served to us by a server with a bad cut on her finger. Manager, Billy, was aware of the problem but continued to let server work causing a serious public safety issue.
Indy's very first Brewpub, and longest operating microbrewery. Always serving the perfect pint and offering an eclectic menu in a family friendly atmosphere.
In the heart of Broad Ripple, a few leisurely blocks from the main drag, Broad Ripple Brewpub is serving the people of Indianapolis. While many area watering holes are all about high-energy partying, this brewpub offers a more relaxed environment to sip your suds. The atmosphere is warm and comforting in the style of a classic English pub. Enjoy their homemade brews and maybe a plate of food...
In the heart of Broad Ripple, but a few leisurely blocks of the main drag, BRBP is a welcome oasis. So many area watering holes are all about high-energy partying, whereas this place is laid back. The atmosphere is a little warmer and a little darker than elsewhere. The music is a few decibels quieter. Enjoy their homemade brews and maybe a plate of food while watching sports above the bar or...
"Leisurely brewed" read labels adorning the homemade suds at Broad Ripple Brew Pub. The philosophy of relaxation permeates every aspect of this casual, low-slung hangout, from its weathered patio to dim lighting and a distressed tin ceiling inside. Specialty brews include the rich-bodied Monon Porter, refreshing favorite Lawn Mower Pale Ale, and malty Extra Special Bitter. The first brew pub in...
