I seem to only be sharing closure news, today. Britta's closed a few months ago. It will be replaced by a place that is advertising organic and healthy items on the billboard outside. It is a great location with lots of foot traffic for whomever takes over.

A friend and I went to Irvine to a ballet performance. Needing a place for dinner, we chose Britta's Café from a list suggested by the theater. We peeked in and loved the décor. Then we read the menu, which has a lot of variety and interesting dishes. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat on the outdoor patio....

Britta's Cafe is quite famous for its breakfast and brunch combos. It looks charming and enticing with its outdoor seating and rather pleasant location. The menu changes seasonally and offers a great variety, also there is a good choice of wines available here. Granted the food here is a bit pricey but good enough. Try the chocolate cake with ice cream its simply delicious!
