Help us make it rightEven though there is a location in California, Brick's is one of a kind. A key concept at Bricks is mixing. Whether it be the integration of hot peppers and pesto into thin crust pizza or the more traditional melding of beer with pizza, this basement-set Lincoln Park stop is at once a perfect alternative to typical Chicago style pizza and a much better place to grab a libation than many of the...
You'll find a "plethora" of "delicious" thin-crust pizzas with "some of the best" toppings around at this Lincoln Park hangout and its newer North Center sequel that also adds a host of BBQ offerings (brisket, pulled pork, ribs) to its budget-friendly roster; the original's "hole-in-the-wall" digs have somewhat of a "basement atmosphere", while the newer sib is larger and more spacious, and...
In Short
Bricks looks and feels like a neighborhood watering hole, from the funky Elvis mural to the extensive beer selection at the bar. It serves gourmet pies with combinations like the...
We were looking for a good thin crust pizza place in Chicago (deep dish country!), saw this place and decided to stop in.
I like to try the specials of each restaurant so went with the Brickhouse pizza. It had red peppers, artichokes, and two cheeses. I'm pretty picky when it comes to pizza and it definitely delivered. The crust...
We dropped in here for a meal on the strength of other Tripadvisor reviews. It was excellent. Friendly service and the best pizzas with a great choice. Really good value for money.
We were recommended to try out this Pizza place by our Air bnb host, and we were not disappointed. At first I thought we were in the wrong place as you walk down some stairs into a dark passage way, but don't be discouraged. It is an underground restaurant. We ordered a Pizza to share, and it was delicious. Staff...
Was told by the staff at Hotel Lincoln this was the best pizza around and it was the best that I had while in Chicago it by far is better then Dominos
Living in the neighborhood, I don't know what took us so long to try Bricks. But now that we've been there, we'll definitely go back. The restaurant is situated in a cool underground setting with a long bar on one side of a brick and stone room with pass through openings that makes it feel like a Speakeasy during Prohibition....
"Low-key pizza joint providing a deep-dish alternative with thin-crust pies & a variety of toppings."
This gourmet pizza and pasta place is located in the historic old town area of Chicago. It has a casual atmosphere and the menu features sandwiches like the Italian grinder with pepperoni, sausage, cheese, onions and tomato sauce and pizzas like The Brickhouse with pureed artichoke sauce, sweet red peppers, roasted garlic, mozzarella and asiago.
Bricks Pizza was founded in 1997 at 1909 n Lincoln Ave in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago. The Bricks experience is built on the holy trinity of tasty beer, crispy pizza and funky music. Our beer and wine lists are carefully selected to provide you with flavorful choices that rise above the ordinary. Our crispy whole-wheat crust, bold sauce and creative toppings have won over a loyal...
Enter via stairwell to basement level (near Katacomb). Funky thin crust pizza, full service bar. We recommend selecting one of the suggested pizzas on the menu - the pizza called "painful" (with jalapeno peppers) is very good. Decent selection of bottled beer. -

If you're looking for a pizza that won't drip with grease or slow you down, this is the place. Reasonably...
Gourmet pizzas are the order of the day at Bricks, and the scrumptious pies sport quite colorful names. Try the "Painful" with spicy pepperoni, purple onion, fresh jalapenos, garlic, and mozzarella; the "Berzerkely" with smoked ham, artichoke hearts, sweet red peppers, and mozzarella; or the "Popeye" with fresh spinach, tomatoes, roasted garlic, feta, and mozzarella. Salads and appetizers round...
There's no valet service, no pay lot in the immediate area and no parking on zoned side streets. A cab may be your best bet.
