This place is a mess.
I signed my daughter up for a once a week afterschool 1 hr class.
Children were in one class with 40 kids (k-5th grade) supervised by 1 adult. Owner states this was not a safety issue. Only issue he has is that he didn't have enough kits for all 40 kids.
The website describes the teacher will "lead a discussion related to that day's model" but I stood outside the door and watched and it never happened. The owners response is nothing at all. He won't answer when directly asked about it. He skirts around the issue staying that the teacher has a lesson plan which he couldn't produce the day he was there because she didn't have it.
2 children left the room half way through the class until it was over and the instructor never knew they weren't with a parent.
Owner offered a refund when he couldn't produce the lesson plan but now is taking out a "cancellation fee".
Beware! I wish I would have done more research before wasting money on this. We signed up for the first session this was offered at our school, and now I'm thinking I probably know why most of the schools have plenty of available spots.
The kids are basically in a room with an iPad including instructions and a set of Legos. Their is no teacher led instruction.
Good idea in theory, and probably some franchises have an outstanding program. Unfortunately this owner needs more training.
