Brass Buckle Mexican Rest

Left hungry. This is the only time I've ever left a Mexican restaurant still hungry... and I ordered a combination fajita platter. No chips/salsa offered. Prices were high. Portions small.

I never write reviews for anything. Tonight I had the most horrific Mexican food I ever had. Bland is an understatement....I cannot believe I paid 43 dollars for such crap. Food was not fresh....carne asade steak and chicken literally tasted like it was microwaved and reheated....no spices or no taste....the cook needs to visit the McCormick spice section in the supermarket......restaurant so...

If you've had good Mexican food before, you'll be disappointed. Food is bland and portions are small. Guacamole is from a bag and I've had better salsa out of a jar.

Entry way is dark and dirty so it kind of sets a bad tone. Food is mediocre. Men's room is filthy and kind of creepy. It's like they just don't have their act together.

Love Brass Buckle. We have loved Brass Buckle for many years. We miss Martha. My husband and I miss the weekly adds in the Standard Speaker also. We also really want the place to bring back the crab au-gratin, it was the best!!! Martha would actually call us some weeks to let us know it was on special if we hadn't been in for awhile : )
