Amazing sandwiches. Great people! Fast service. Outdoor seating is the way to go. Great place to stop by before a ferry ride to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.

Owen and Kathy MacNutt started the Box Lunch here in Wellfleet in 1977 when he was a teacher searching for a seasonal business. The original "Rollwich" was an instant success with a variety of fillings wrapped in rolled bread (much like a pita).

The Box Lunch, which also has branches in Provincetown and Eastham, does excellent rollup sandwiches of many kinds. When our family needs sandwiches to go, this is our "go to" place.
The sandwiches are convenient, easy to eat and taste great. There are lots of options to choose from and we've never been disappointed with the quality of the food.
This is a must try in Wellfleet. It's a great sandwich to take to the beach.
