Horrible Fish

I have kept fish for the past 10 years, never had a problem buying from any other location. Last year I bought some ghost shrimp, all 10 were dead in 5 hours, water and Ph was fine in tank, rest of fish in tank stayed alive. Recently I spent $60 on 2 Molly and an Angelfish to add to my tank. 2 days later all three had died. This was a well kept tank(55gal) in which I already had an angelfish...

Disease

The people there did not know the names of any of their aquarium plants. The filtration system they used on their tanks was outdated .
That alone tells you they know next to nothing.
As a result of poor filtration most of their fish suffer from disease.
After buying two fish from them they spread disease to my other fish and almost wiped out my entire aquarium.
I won't be back. Very nasty.

Not very impressive. Extremely poor salt water selection. The salt water systems they do have need to be thrown out.

All of their aquariums run on an outdated under gravel filter system so that alone tells you that they are not that knowledgeable about aquarium systems.
One good proper filter system could keep every tank they have running healthy without water changes or chemicals.

Yes, they are slightly expensive. However they compensate this with knowledgeable staff, healthy animals, and quality products.
Practically guaranteed satisfaction with anything you get there.

Bowles Aquarium is a great place to do business. Some of the prices are a little high but if they do not have something they will get it for you. The people that work there are friendly and very helpful. Thanks to all the great work!!
