Bottles is the best liquor store that I have walked into in Boulder County. a pretty decent place. i say inexpensive because they have the best prices for boulder area without sales, which is nice that its everyday. and they have a 5 dollar off in the king soopers grocery store reciepts.

I've been going here for over a year now when I travel to Denver and make my way up to Boulder. Last year this place was amazing! Great selection; great service and lots of rare things.
However, the past year (like many places, to be fair) there seems to be a real cut back on the number of different beers carried and on the overall selection and quantity of each beer.

Spotted this one while looking for a place to eat after an Avery release party. Located in a nice strip mall, well lit. Seems new. Very wide open spacing...looks like they need more shelving or something. Clean. Staff was sporadic, but offered assistance.
Selection was all in the coolers, with some warm displays as well. Boulevard's rack was almost empty. A good choice of singles and bombers....

Bottles is a newer looking store near the University of Colorado campus. It's in a strip mall and is fairly easy to spot. The interior of the store is spacious, well lit and clean. The staff was minimal, but attentive the day I was there.
Selection was only so-so by Boulder standards. I didn't spot anything here beyond what I could find at most of the better CO stores. The selection paled in...
