Good fresh salad bar! I was looking for a little more than chicken wings and fried potatoes on the hot bar!
the food was fantastic, the décor could use some cleaning and updating but the food was worth the bore.
The steak I had was cooked just perfect and tasty. The sides and the salad bar were rather unimpressive, though. I really enjoyed the staff, who were very friendly.
I think if I was sitting on a jury deciding if this restaurant is good or not, I would definitely vote that its a great restaurant. We traveled 60 miles just to eat here, because 36 years ago, a similar restaurant was in our then town, and we had our wedding rehearsal meal there. The prices have definitely gone up...
The only redeeming quality about Bonanza is the okay salad bar. I'm always surprised when people actually choose to go to Bonanza when they can go to Wendy's and find the Beef. Just stay away from Bonanza. It's over priced for food items which I consider to be questionable.
