Bon Ami, uniquely situated in the Maywood Mart Shopping Center off Northside Drive and I-55, is a locally owned restaurant worth a definite visit. A mastery of French cuisine with plenty of southern flair thrown in is what you’ll find in their beautifully decorated establishment.

It was GOOD but they have CLOSED! Seems the owners decided to get out! The food was good, no alcohol served and the staff was excellent.........

Bon Ami is a wonderful place to meet and visit with friends. Decor is lovely and the food is quite good. Somewhat pricey compared to other "lunchtime" places, but they don't rush you and they can be counted on to serve you well and the food to be fresh and well presented. Bread before the meal is a nice touch.

I've eaten here many, many times with friends for lunch birthdays and occasions. The food is generally good to great. The last 4 visits, though, my bill was over $20 for a salad and water. While I enjoyed the salads, the price has made us take our lunches elsewhere. On one of the last visits we had a new waitress...

My daughters, grandaughters and I ate there for my birthday at my suggestion. I ordered the Quiche Lorraine. My portion was very small. The fruit I was served was so hard I could not eat it. My daughters sandwich was so bland she only ate half. The server was grumpy and very slow. Our drinks were not not filled promptly....

Bon Ami is a quaint restaurant located off of Interstate-55 in Maywood Mart (just look for the chef's hat). The décor inside the restaurant resembles a French garden and could not be more inviting. The cuisine could best be described as adding a French twist to some Southern classics (like grits with goulda cheese).
