What the community has to say about Boiling Crab

Information about this business (1)

It all began in a little Southeastern Texas town called Seadrift. Seadrift, population 2000, was home to Yo'Daddy and family. The family of crabbers and fishermen labored in their boats year-round, catching oysters, crab and shrimp for the seafood industry. As toiling as the work was, every weekend the men would come home and make sure that they enjoyed their catch of the week... boiling...

Same as the location on Valley Blvd, now just as crowded.

This place is the newest of the Boiling Crab restaurants which have been extremely popular. Typically the location on Valley Blvd requires waiting at least 30 mins to an hour to get a table; this location now appears to have finally been discovered and now sports a similar wait.

The food is a decent, cajun-inspired seafood where you get shrimp, crab, corn and sausage brought to you in plastic bags swimming in a spicy sauce. I personally don't go for that as much as the deep fried catfish baskets served over french fries, which I think are a much better experience.

It's a loud place; come with friends and prepare to get messy. Definitely take the bib they offer you.

"Wear a bib" and "get your hands dirty" at this midpriced Cajun-seafood chain where diners dig into "spicy", "magically seasoned" crabs, shrimp and crawfish in a casual "seasidey" setting; some gripe about "waits" and merely "ok" service, but to fans, the food "makes up for everything"; P.S. a Westwood branch is coming soon.

Comparing to other fastfood, the boiling crab attracts my attention more because the atmosphere is like camping and it is busy……There are multiple choices for ordering food, such as sauce, types of food and how spicy…People can choose what they want and mix different tastes,so people can have different attempts. However, one thing that i think trouble is hard for me fo reduce the smell if the sauce...

Boiling Crab almost never disappoints...except for the last time my friends and I went. I'll make that experience brief (and at the end of the review) since it isn't really a reflection of all...

Valley is better. I have been to both numerous times and the Main St one always misses something. This time, the oyster dozen $15, was the worst I've had. Flavorless, unfresh. And the lemons they...
